Dr. Andrew “Drew” Hoekwater is a proud alumnus of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, graduating in 2005 after earning a Bachelor of Science from Calvin College in 2001. With 18 years of experience, Dr. Drew is dedicated to continuous education, annually updating his skills and incorporating cutting-edge techniques like implant dentistry, which he received specialized training for.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Michigan Dental Association (MDA) and serves as the Chairman of the West Michigan Dental Peer Review Committee.

Dr. Drew’s goal as a dentist is to do everything he can to make his patient’s experience as good as it could possibly be. He loves the personal aspect of dentistry; getting to know our patients and their families.

He is married to his wife Moriah, and they have a daughter and two sons. Outside the office, Dr. Hoekwater enjoys travel, skiing and golf.

Dr. James P. Hoekwater has been serving our area through exceptional dental care for nearly two decades. He completed his undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University and graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2003.
Dr. Jamie actively pursues continuing education throughout the year and is a member of the American Dental Association® (ADA), Michigan Dental Association (MDA), and West Michigan District Dental Society (WMDDS).

Dr. Jamie is happily married to his wife, Jackie, and is a proud parent to four daughters, with two sons-in-law and three granddaughters. Beyond dentistry, he enjoys camping, and outdoor sports and activities.

As the founder of Hoekwater Family Dentistry, Dr. James C. Hoekwater brings a wealth of experience and character to our office. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Calvin College and graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 1973.
Dr. Jim is committed to staying up to date with the latest in dentistry through continuous education, and he actively participates in various courses throughout the year. He is a member of the American Dental Association® (ADA), Michigan Dental Association (MDA), and West Michigan District Dental Society (WMDDS).

His overarching goal as a dentist is to provide excellent dental care for our patients, a friendly encouraging atmosphere for our staff and to show Christ’s love to all we come in contact with.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Jim celebrates over 53 years of marriage with his wife, Christine, and is a proud parent of four, grandparent of 17 and great-grandparent of three. His hobbies include fishing, golf and playing board games.
